The Business Mile is our workplace initiative. It has minimal cost and impact to the business, but yields maximum gain to the vast majority of your employees.

How it works

No matter how big or small your businesses, we organise a miles worth of activity per day for each employee, helping them to gain the benefits of gentle outdoor exercise, while naturally improving their diet and becoming happier employees.

Why The Business Mile?

We recognise that for many, vigorous physical activity is not obtainable. For those who are overweight, suffering with long term health conditions, are inactive, with disabilities, or body conscious, the thought of doing a traditional work out is just not an option.

The Mason Mile provides a fun, safe environment for employees to come together regularly, to get active, in a way that works for them. We start with the basics, a simple walk will provide the foundations to build on.

Often overlooked, walking at a moderate pace, can build endurance, burn excess energy and improve overall health, all having a positive impact on physical and mental health and well-being, which in turn impacts positively on staff absence management.

Happy, healthy employees results in increased productivity and reduced absenteeism.

To find out more or to arrange for a no obligation quote, please contact us below and one of our team will be in touch shortly.

As part of The Business Mile we support businesses to identify workplace ambassadors who can become part of our established ambassadors network. We can provide training and follow up support to all ambassadors to lead their workplace mile, making it a sustainable, employee led initiative.

Note: Employee health is paramount for businesses. Sickness absence costs UK businesses an estimated £2.9bn each year, with the average employee taking over 6 sick days off each year. It is estimated that an average business of 250 employees, situated in London, loses around £250K a year due to poor health.
Research has shown that those businesses that invest in looking after their workforce, proactively supporting employee health and well-being initiatives, can see a significant return on their investment. A review of research studies, suggests this return can range from £2 for every £1 spent to £34 for every £1 spent
